Ananya’s wedding

Ananya is soon to enter into wedlock with the Kerala based industrialist Anjaneyan. The engagement is scheduled to happen on February 2nd and the date of the wedding will be announced soon. Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal release date

Muppozhudum Un Karpanaigal starring Atharva and Amala Paul and directed by Elred Kumar who is also the producer will be released on February 17th. The audio release was held on December 18th and the music be GV Prakash has been well received. The Oru Murai track rendered by GV Prakash, Blaaze and Andrea and the Sokkupodi number by Baba Sehgal and Shruti Haasan are becoming quite popular.Major chunks of the movie have been shot in the USA. Zaved seen in Hollywood movies like HAngover 2 will be playing the villain. Atharva and Amala Paul are very excited about the film as they believe in it and have put their hearts into their respective roles.

Richa refuses item numbers

There was rumor doing the rounds that Richa would be doing an item number in Prabhu Deva's Hindi remake of Siruthai entitled Rowdy Rathore. This film will have Akshay Kumar in the lead and is produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.Richa was quick to deny the rumor and used the opportunity to stress that she is in the industry to do meaningful roles and item numbers are out of the question for her. She said that she has no idea where the gossip came from as she does not know anyone associated with the film. Richa is currently busy with her Telugu film with Prabhas and Bengali film with Prosenjit which coincidentally is also a remake of Siruthai.

Sameera Reddy retains her Vettai role?

Lingusamy has said that Vettai will be remade in Hindi and talks are on with Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor to play the roles essayed by Arya and Madhavan. Ever since this news started making rounds, there were a lot of speculations about the two heroines that would be cast.It is now said that Sameera Reddy will get to play the same role she did in the Tamil version as she is a popular name in Bollywood. However, there is no official confirmation on this news.

Shankar to Megastar's 150th film?

There is considerable speculation about Shankar's next project after Nanban. Earlier it was suggested that he was going to team up with his Anniyan hero, Vikram. Now there are reports that he has been roped in for Megastar Chiranjeevi's 150th film to be produced by NV Prasad, a famous distributor based in Hyderabad.At the audio release of the Telugu version of Enthiran, Chiranjeevi had expressed his desire to work with Shankar onstage and now it looks like something will materialize. Chiranjaeevi and the producer, NV Prasad are keen to make this project happen and an official announcement is expected soon.
